Cooking Directions:
Are you ready for some hot mini meatloaves? Well to start out this wonderful recipe, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or roughly 175 degrees Celsius. Next you will need to take out a large plastic mixing bowl, and add in the egg, the 2% cold milk, the grated cheddar cheese, the Quaker oats, basil, black pepper, ground garlic, and then the fine table salt. Mix those ingredients together quickly using a whisk or a mixing spoon. Next add into the bowl the lean ground beef flank, and using your clean bare hands, mix it all together. Really mash and mix it up, as you really want to get those ingredients evenly spread out through the whole meatloaf. Once you have it really well mixed, begin forming 8 small mini meatloaves, all oval in shape. Once you have your formed mini Meatloaves, grease up a baking pan, and add the miniloaves into it, making sure there is room between each, as you don't want them to stick together when baking. I generally use a 9 x 13 baking dish when I am cooking these, though you can use a large pan. Next in a small bowl, mix in the Heinz spicy ketchup, hot Chinese mustard, and brown sugar. Stir these ingredients together thoroughly, and spread them all over the eight miniloaves. Finally you can bake these little guys for about 45 full minutes. Serve them hot with a dish of boiled asparagus, and hash browns. A nice pale ale beer complements them too.
