Cooking Directions:
Almost everyone that tries this Asian style meatloaf recipe, will just love it, so let's begin. First you will need to preheat your over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or about 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out your large mixing bowl, add in the lean pork, lean beef, bread crumbs, two eggs, diced onion, and diced celery. Mix these ingredients together well with your clean bare hands. Be sure to get the bread crumbs and veggies spread out evenly throughout the meat. For the next step you will want to season your loaf mix, so add in 3 tablespoons of organic Shoyu soy sauce, the ginger, and the 2 tablespoons of Hoisin sauce. Again mix up the beefloaf, and really get those seasoning spread through it. Next prepare a greased baking pan, form your beefloaf into an oval shape, and add it to the pan somewhere in the middle. Finally bake your meatloaf for about 40 minutes. You can bake into it a toothpick, which will help you know when the meat is done. If you can pull the toothpick out of it without any meat residue being attached, that is a good indication the meat is well done. Next drain the grease away from the baking pan. In a small mixing bowl, stir together some more Hoisin sauce, with the ketchup. Spread this all over the meatloaf, and let it bake for an additional 20 minutes. Once it's done, let it cool for another 8 minutes before slicing it up. Served this with brown rice and steamed veggies, along with a cup of warm green tea.
